Gokyo ri- Chola pass- Everest base camp/Kalapattar trek is one of most demanded adventure trek which includes both areas of Gokyo RI trek and Everest base camp- Kalapattar trek route by passing through one of challenge high pass- Chola pass (5320m). Trekkers those who are physically fit and mentally prepared and have 3 weeks timeframe of holiday can do this excellent trek in Khumbu region. This trek is above 2800m to maximum 5545m Kalapattar, 5320 m Chola pass trek and Gokyo peak trek at 5463m. Excellent Mountain views from Top of Gokyo peak and chola pass as well as from Kalapattar. The trek provides an excellent opportunity to see an eyeful view of the Mt. Everest at close range though it is an ultimate challenge to the ambitious trekkers, this moderate to challenging trek takes to you to the foot of Mt. Everest crossing challenging High Cho La pass at an elevation of 5420 meter. This trek is to be considered as an alternative trek to the traditional Everest Base Camp trek that offers magnificent view of the mountain peaks and the Ngozumpa Glacier- the largest in the Nepal Himalayas. The image of this region is associated with the soaring view of the most popular mountains in Nepal, at an altitude of 8000m including Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse and Makalu, which are clearly visible from Gokyo RI (5483m.) above Gokyo Lake. One of the most remarkable features of the trek is the view of tremendous ice ridge between Cho Oyu and Gyachung (2922m) located in Khumbu region. This extraordinary trek is also worthy in a sense that it offers an ample opportunity to explore the amazing destination and its impressive sight, which is beyond human imagination. A visit to Everest Base Camp will also allow you to have a closer look at the spectacular Khumbu Icefall This trek requires you to be moderately fit but not necessarily an experienced trekker. Considering the snow condition over Cho La Pass the trek may not be advisable during winter [January & February] and monsoon period [July & August]. Because of snow if the chola pass is not possible to cross or pass, we will alternatively trek via Portse and Traditional route to Everest Base camp- Kalapattar. Our Expert Sherpa guide and yourself can customize your itinerary according to your needs. Same like other treks, this trek also include heritage sightseeing in kathmandu on second day.Introduction
